KV2 Audio Distributor IAD of Germany have just recently completed a successful Production and presentation of the brand capabilities, ease of use and performance at this years recent Grolsch Blues Festival.

Under the direction of Frank Swierzy, Sales Director of IAD and assisted by Andy Austin-Brown-Technical Project director of KV2 Audio International, the two-day live music Blues event was attended by over 3500 visitors, including the entire village and localities of Schoeppingen, situated in Northwestfalen, near Munster, Germany.

Entering its 20th year of concerts, the Blues festival wanted to mark the occasion with some extra special performers as well as raising the bar with regards to absolute sound quality and coverage.

Frank quotes’ I had been approached in previous years to become involved in this fantastic, quite ‘intimate’ family style festival, but did not feel that we had access to the right products to do the whole project justice –that is until we became involved with KV2 Audio and I then I had the real confident assurance that we could approach the venue and concerts with a stunning sound quality that would bring the performers out into the crowds’.

The usual quizzical looks, frowns and comments were made on the set up day as to whether there was physically enough PA to provide the expected spl and coverage, but once again, as sound check began, all imagined problems and fears were immediately dispelled.

Again, Frank quoted’ the choice of a double flown ES1.0 per side of the stage accompanied by a block of just four ES2.16 double 15” subs looked almost comical, it was really a case of spot the PA, but the sound quality was just outstanding’

And so the shows main organiser, the attending engineers and visiting management of several artistes, confirmed it several times during the Festival, with the statement being made that they must have KV2 Audio PA next year!.

KV2 Audio ESD12M monitors were used for main acts centre stage.
