| KV2 Audio’s Middle Eastern distributor, Triangle Sound, were recently approached by Fluid Productions to provide sound and light for a 5,000 capacity club night featuring the Grammy Award nominated DJ Bob Sinclar. The night would be the most recent in Fluid Productions’ “Peppermint Experience” nights, having previously played host to DJ set’s from Tiesto, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk and David Guetta amongst many others. Taking place in Forum de Beyrouth, Beirut, Lebanon on Saturday June 20th, the 5,000 capacity crowd were shown the real Peppermint Experience until the early hours of Sunday morning.
Fluid Productions’ owner, J. Ramia’s’ previous work with Triangle and KV2 Audio products left him confident in leaving the sound as a last concern, with Fluid Productions’ Technical Manager Raphael Topalian commenting “you can never go wrong with KV2. I would say you should never go clubbing without KV2. Along with the ease of set-up and reliability, I don’t feel there is any other system that can match it’s performance.” J. Ramia added “Following the success of this event we shall of course continue to work with KV2 Audio and Triangle at all our future events”
The system used featured four separate arrays, each with two VHD2.0’s and a VHD1.0 down-fill enclosure flown high above the stage, supported by twenty four VHD4.18’s and four VHD2.15’s. To ensure optimum performance the system was powered by eight VHD2000 mid hi amplifiers and eight VHD3200 sub amplifiers, with a VHD LD4 line driver to ensure the smallest possible loss of signal through the large length of cables required for such a large scale event. |
