Tim Vigus of Southwest Bars Ltd commissioned KV2 Audio specialist Clockwork Audio to provide staging, sound and lighting for the 1,500 capacity marquee situated within the new Events Square on the sea front. Zhev Liberson and Dave Monks of Clockwork Audio contacted KV2 Audio’s Director of Technical Projects, Andy Austin-Brown with regards to specifying a suitable audio system. The result of discussions saw a complete VHD system utilised. The system comprised of a single VHD 2.0 mid-hi enclosure and four VHD 2.16 subwoofers per side powered by their respective VHD 2000 and VHD 3200 amplifiers. Onstage monitoring and front of stage infill were handled by several units of KV2 Audio’s active EX 12 loudspeakers, with a simple EX 10 and EX 2.2 combination handling the drum fill.

Having performed faultlessly to full houses, Zhev has reported glowing reviews from both visitors and performers and stated that it is yet another step in raising the profile of both KV2 Audio and Clockwork in the south.
