KV2 Audio recently provided sound for “Boris Godunov”. The performance of the traditional Russian Opera took place in Kostroma, Russian, situated 300km to the Northeast of Moscow. As the pictures below show, a large cast of approximately 50-75 performed as part of the traditional show. KV2 Audio’s VHD system provided the main sound for the show and was enhanced with several units of ES. Due to the incredibly small footprint to performance ratio, the organisers were sceptical as to KV2’s ability to fill the large audience area and installed several additional outline speakers. However, these speakers remained turned off for the duration of the show and the organisers were thoroughly impressed with KV2 Audio’s gear.
