| EPAK2500 Control of Your ES System |

The EPAK 2500 is a four-way, active control and amplification unit specifically designed for the ES Series modular loudspeaker system. It not only houses all signal processing and four individual amplifiers but also controls the allocation of power depending on the number of bass modules employed. Unlike other active speaker systems, the EPAK 2500 allows placement of critical electronics remotely.
The EPAK 2500 is enclosed in a road-rugged Baltic birch cabinet with two corner handles and a built in cable storage compartment. Inside, the electronics mechanical assembly is mounted on an independent suspension system that isolates it from the shocks and impacts typically encountered on the road. A large aluminium heat sink provides passive cooling along with two demand-sensitive fans for added reliability.
To achieve increased output and throw you can set up two ES 1.0 cabinets to work together horizontally as a single loudspeaker system. This configuration will require two EPAK 2500/R’s per side and the use of the ‘Two per side’ switch to engage a specific set of filters and operating parameters required in this mode. |
