leat con 26 brings the event and entertainment technology industry to Hamburg Messe from 6 to 8 October, this year across three halls. KV2 Audio is there in two places. Our stand, A4-C03 in Hall A4, is where to find us for a conversation. Our own demo room, A1.4 in Hall A1, is where the listening happens — because an exhibition hall is the least useful room in the world for judging a loudspeaker, and a closed door is the whole point of having a room of our own. In A1.4 we run nine sessions across the three days. Thirty minutes, no registration.

Small systems for real rooms: bars and restaurants, clubs, museums, houses of worship, theatre fill and under-balcony coverage. Places where the cabinet has to disappear and still carry the room.
We run the two answers side by side. Passive: the ESD Cube with the ESD1.10 subwoofer, driven and managed by the ESP1000 amplifier. Active: the self-powered EX6 with the EX1.2 sub, all electronics on board. Same room, same material, switched in front of you — so you hear what each approach costs, what it gives back, and which one belongs in your next installation.

THE LION KING has played the Stage Theater im Hafen in Hamburg since December 2001: Germany’s most successful musical, more than 700,000 spectators a year. For the 25th anniversary Stage Entertainment rebuilt the sound system for the next twenty-five years and chose KV2 point source, specified by sound designer and Tony Award winner John Shivers.
