It's directed by Gordon Greenberg with choreography by Lorin Latarro and music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Brian Usifer. The Heart of Rock & Roll runs September 6 – October 21, 2018 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe’s Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.
Sound design was entrusted to the award winning sound designers John Shivers and David Patridge who commented: “Once again we have chosen to specify KV2 for its combination of power output vs size together with an amazingly detailed sound stage and sonic accuracy. A fairly diminutive looking rig comprised of 2x EX15 and a single EX26 is more than capable of doing justice to Huey’s material. We are continually thrilled with the results that we are able to achieve with KV2.”
"The tiny center cluster was a perfect fit in our scenic proscenium, I couldn’t believe how something so small could be so crystalline. I especially liked the vocals through that cabinet - they were really present, clear and intelligible.” added the production manager, Ben Thoron.
Tickets start at $39.00, are on sale now to the general public, and can be purchased online at www.TheOldGlobe.org.
