El VHD5000S es un amplificador de medias/bajas frecuencias de alta eficiencia montado en rack específicamente diseñado en conjunto con VHD5000 para alimentar el sistema de altavoces VHD5 de medias/bajas frecuencias. La unidad contiene dos amplificadores de 2500 watts con suministros de energía, trayectorias de señales, entradas y salidas individuales dentro de un único espacio de cuatro racks. Esta unidad trabaja junto con la VHD5000, que suministra audio y control de señal.
